Well, 2017 is coming to a close and no better way to send it off than compiling all of the New Year’s Eve parties going on around Chattanooga. If you’re looking for something to do, we’ve got the list for you.

It’s BREW YEAR’S EVE at Barley! They’ve gathered a delightful collection of rare and just plain delicious kegs and they’re gonna throw them all on tap at 4PM on New Year’s Eve! Other festivities for the night TBA. What a better way to celebrate 2017’s departure or 2018’s arrival than great beer? (They’ll of course will have many local breweries on tap as well)

One year ago OddStory opened with 5 employees, 7 beers on tap, and a lot of excitement for the year ahead.

WestinWest Village New Year’s Eve Festival

Start time: 6pm

The inaugural New Year’s Eve in West Village is a perfect time to check out the newly revitalized area between MLK & 7th on Chestnut and Pine.

Activities include:

+A giant screen displayed on the Westin Hotel’s mirrored surface will play a special, Chattanooga themed laser light show each hour throughout the evening until 10 p.m.

+Following the last laser show, guests will enjoy a live feed of the Times Square celebration up to the ball drop.

+Family-friendly activities and attractions including face painting, popcorn, hot chocolate, frozen yogurt, street entertainers and more will be available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

+There is even a “not-so-late ball drop” at 7:30 p.m., early enough for even the youngest partygoers to enjoy.

+Following the “not-so-late ball drop”, concessions, music, entertainment and festivities go until 12:30 a.m. Cocktails and craft beer will also be available for purchase.

+ Businesses in the area will be open late for the occasion (Peet’s, Pinkberry, etc).

+Get an exclusive sneak peek into Antibes, a new clothing store and Citron et Sel, an organic taco and tequila bar.

New Year’s at The Social – A New Year’s Eve tradition. A limited number of tickets to this New Year’s party means a comfortable, classy place to celebrate and ring in 2018. Enjoy dancing in the Social from 10:00 – 2:00 with DJ Boo Ryder. Lounge setting and cocktails in Public House from 10:30 – 12:30 with music from Ashley & the X’s.
