It's quite the weekend with the Kentucky Derby, May The Fourth Be With You & Cinco de Mayo, so whether you like to throw a little money on the ponies, nerd out over Star Wars, or just tend to like a good margarita, The House has you covered with all the events going on this weekend in Birmingham.

Kentucky Derby:

Innisfree - Saturday, May 4th - 12pm to 2am

#HeadToTheFree this Saturday and join us for our annual Kentucky derby day bash. Big hats, bourbon and live music make this a day party you don’t want to miss. Billy Gant brings his AM gold all stars to the stage and DJ Purdy pumps the patio full of good vibes. Doors open at noon with drink specials and refreshments.

May The Fourth Be With You Galactic Pub Crawl:

Lakeview - Saturday, May 4th - 3pm to 9pm

The Galaxy is too large for just one fandom so on May the 4th, 2019 let’s come together to celebrate them all, especially the biggest of them all, STAR WARS! All galactic fandoms are welcomed and encouraged to don your own insignia, stripes, costumes/cosplay, bow ties, towels or even your Galactic tees. Participating bars include: Tin Roof, Slice, Mojo Pub, Sky Castle, Moe's BBQ, & Nana Funks (After Party)

— FREE COLOR-CHANGING LIGHTSABER (with sound) for first 150 people with adv. tickets to come through registration (Tin Roof) on May 4th in the Lakeview District. Advance tickets on EventBrite

Cinco de Mayo:

Cabo Coastal Grill - Friday, May 3rd - Sunday, May 5th

Friday from 6pm to 9pm - The party starts Friday! Live Music w/ David Cooley from 6pm to 9pm and amazing food & drink specials all weekend.

Saturday from 6pm to midnight - Join us for our Saturday edition of Cinco de Mayo. We'll have live music with Jeff Lopez playing jazz from 6pm to 9pm, Salsa Night w/ DJ El Maestro starting at 10pm and food/drink specials.

Sunday from 3pm to 6pm - Live Music w/ Face 2 ft. Emmanuel from 3pm to 6pm. Amazing food & drink specials all weekend. We'll have a bouncy house, raffles & a mechanical bull.

Pepper Place - Cinco de Mayo Festival - Saturday, May 4th - 2pm to 10pm

Join Pepper Place for Cinco de Mayo 2019. We are observing this festive holiday on Saturday, May 4 to maximize our celebration time.

Here's what you can expect:

The Market at Pepper Place:
- Come enjoy the outdoor Market from 7 am to noon, rain or shine. Connect with our state's farmers and makers, enjoy live music.

Cantina Tortilla Grill:
- From 2pm to 10pm, come celebrate the 16th annual CInco de Mayo party at Cantina
- You can expect a DJ, live music and margarita specials
- Cantina, Cantina on Wheels & Taco Moro Locco will be serving up food to accompany your margarita
- $5 admission

Hop City Birmingham:
- It's Star Wars Day & Drinko de Mayo at Hop City!
- Free Beer Sampling 12 to 2 pm following the farmers market, plus special featured drafts!

Ignite Cycle:
- Embrace the latin vibes with a themed class at Ignite
- 8a or 10:30a will get your hips moving to that beat, all while breaking a good sweat.

Design Supply:
- Grab a Bloody Mary from Stone Hollow Farmstead & watch Artist Blayne Macauley Art work her magic as she lives paints. Her small, custom works of art will be available as well.

Ghost Train Brewing Co. - Sunday, May 5th from 11am to 8pm

We're having our Cinco de Mayo celebration and giveback day for FiestaBham from 11am-8pm. We're taking our regular Jazz Brunch and adding a special Mariachi flare for the day!

The Hot Tag Food Truck will be serving all things Mexican, and we'll have FOUR Cinco-centric beers. Stay tuned for menu releases & more details. See you there!

El ZunZun - Cinco de Mayo Brunch w/ Live Music - Sunday, May 5th - 10:30am to 3pm

Join us for Cinco de Mayo Brunch! We'll have Latin American live music & Drink specials all day.

Avondale Common House - Cinco de Mayo Brunch w/ Live Music - Sunday, May 5th - 11am to 3pm

Peanut & Jonn are back on this Cinco de Mayo Brunch. $8 Bloody Mary Bar or $5 Bloody Marys. We'll have Cinco drink specials for the occasion too.
