2018 Christmas Events in Chattanooga

It’s that time of year to whip out the egg nog, throw on Christmas Vacation and get all your shopping done with 1 click on Amazon, but once you’ve knocked that out, get out of the house and on The House app for all the Christmas events in Chattanooga. Here’s a list of what’s going on leading up to Christmas Day. There will likely be more to add, but here’s what we’ve got so far:

Dec. 13th - Holiday Market at Waterhouse Pavilion - 5:30-7:30pm

Come to the Waterhouse Pavilion in Miller Plaza for holiday music, shopping and treats. A variety of downtown retailers will be on-site with unique and local holiday gifts. You'll also be serenaded as you shop by some of our talented local school groups.

Vendors include Locals Only Chattanooga, Lost Art Design, Nooga Paws, Alko-Hauler, Elea Blake Cosmetic Studio, Good Fortune Soap & Spa, Wanderlust & Wolf, Center MedSpa, Handmade Here, & Antibes. Fresh wreaths will also be for sale from Creekside Flower Farm.

Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts Jazz Ensemble will start the night off at 5:30 pm and the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Middle School Choirs will begin their performances at 6:10 pm. Thank you to Summit Pianos for making these performances possible by generously providing a grand piano for accompaniment!

The Daily Ration will be on hand to serve wine and beer along with Peet’s Coffee with hot beverages like cocoa and coffee.

Dec. 14th - Tremont Tavern - Butch Ross Christmas Extravaganza - 9pm to midnight

Join us for a Christmas Extravaganza with Butch Ross. From Radiohead to Bach, there is no limit to the sounds or genre’s he plays. Wear your Christmas finest and join us for a holly, jolly good time.

Dec. 15th - Santa Pub Crawl - 3pm til late night

Starts at 3pm at Feed Table & Tavern. Buses will run from Clyde’s/Feed to Patten Parkway Downtown from 5:30- 7:30. Stops along the way include Honest Pint, Jack Brown’s, Jefferson’s, Hair of The Dog, Southside Social & more! Throw on your Santa outfit and joint the party.

Dec. 15th & 16th - Edley’s BBQ - Santa Claus is in the building - 1pm to 4pm

He's making a list, he's checking it twice, he's going to find out who's naughty or nice, Santa Claus is coming to Edley's! Come to celebrate the season with us and get your photo is Santa. Santa will be at Edley's December 15th and 16th from 1pm to 4pm.

Dec. 19th - Flying Squirrel - 5th Annual Christmas FUNDraiser for the Kids - 5pm til midnight

Join the Chattanooga Area Food Bank Team and Associate Board for the “5th Annual Christmas Fundraiser for the Kids” co-hosted by The Flying Squirrel Bar! The Flying Squirrel will donate 10% of all FOOD and DRINK proceeds to support CAFB programs that alleviate hunger for children in our community.

Dec. 21st - Sigler’s Craft Beer - Winter Solstice Shindig - 5pm to 9pm

When it gets dark early, start drinking sooner!

Hutton and Smith will be in the house with the usual canned suspects- Igneous, Promenade, Belay On!, Basecamp Blonde, and Tectonic- but we are bringing in some very special draft choices to celebrate the solstice...

American Wild Ale- sour with an array of soft fruity notes, dry hopped with citra.

Priest Pale Ale- a collaboration with Mad Priest Roasters, this pale ale is citrusy with a light roastiness.

Wee Heavy Metal-120 schillings of ruby red, malty deliciousness.

We will be handing out swag and ringing in the holiday season, so come hang!

Dec. 21st - Southside Social - Mimosas Under The Mistletoe - 9pm to 1:30am

Come out to Southside Social in your best Christmas outfit and dance the night away with Million Dolla Man providing entertainment. Santa hats, elf shoes, and ugly Christmas sweaters are encouraged.

Dec. 23rd - The Camp House - Christmas Concert benefiting the Community Kitchen - 5pm to 8pm

Join us for a wonderful Christmas Concert featuring great musicians from across the Mission Abbey, the Mission Children’s choir and the Mission Adult Choir. Please bring along lightly used warm clothing, non-perishables, hygiene products, etc. Monetary donations are also appreciated. Checks and money orders can made payable to: "Chattanooga Community Kitchen"

Dec. 25th - The Mad Priest Coffee & Cocktails - Open on Christmas from 7pm to midnight

Christmas Night Drink Special: Genepy Hot Chocolates $6. Come in from the cold and enjoy this Alpine Treat and a few drinks away from the fam!

Dec. 25th - Beast + Barrel - Open on Christmas

Beast + Barrel will be open from 2pm to 10pm!

Dec. 25th - The Honest Pint - Open on Christmas

The Honest Pint will be open starting at 5pm!

Dec. 25th - Hair of the Dog Pub - Open on Christmas starting at 5pm

The Hair of the Dog Pub will be open starting at 5pm!
